Book Club
In January, our Book Clubs will both read Wench by Dolen Perkins-Valdez.
On Tuesday, February 21st at 10:00 a.m., the group will meet to tour the Freedom House 1315 Duke Street in Alexandria: http://freedomhousemuseum.org/ This building once housed the largest domestic slave trading business in the country. The museum is free (donations accepted) and it is a self-guided tour. Parking is limited so carpooling is highly encouraged. Following the visit to the museum, we will have lunch and discussion at Hard Times Cafe at 1404 King Street.: http://www.hardtimes.com/

The Morning Coffee Book Club will also meet on Tuesday, February 21st at 10:00 a.m. at the Fairfax Neighborhood Community Center at 10265 Fairfax Drive on Fort Belvoir.
