March Philanthropy:

They are just sitting there collecting dust. They may have come into your life on Christmas, your birthday, an unexpected raffle win, or heaven forbid your anniversary. They are the unwanted gifts of occasions past. They are the perfectly good, “just not what you wanted” items sitting in your closet, under your bed, or on a shelf just waiting to find a home. Please don’t make them wait any longer. For March’s Philanthropy please bring these forgotten, misfit gifts to our March luncheon to donate to the BOSC in support of our silent auction on May 11th. The proceeds from this auction will in part benefit Cause-Helping America’s Military Wounded and Warrior Cry Music Project. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at boscphilanthropy@gmail.com. As always thank you so much for your generosity and remember don’t re-gift, recycle your items with a purpose.

Many thanks to our BOSC members for their amazing generosity in reaching out to the victims of the 2011 Fort Belvoir housing fires. At the January Luncheon, we collected a total of $1300 in gift cards and cash, which will be applied toward purchase of additional gift cards. Your kindness was a true gift to these families.
