Philanthropy and Outreach
Created as part of the Belvoir Officers' Spouses' Club in 2010, Philanthropy and Outreach is designed to provide our members and their families unique ways to reach out and help others. During our monthly luncheons, BOSC Philanthropy organizes donation drives to support groups that care for our military and their family members. Our program also coordinates several volunteer experiences throughout the year so that members can also give of their time. BOSC Philanthropy and Outreach strives to be a program that benefits the community as a whole.
You can reach us at boscphilanthropy16@gmail.com for more information about this year's efforts.

BOSC Philanthropy
Yvonne Coombes, President and Cofounder of Operation Deploy Your Dress will be at our March function at the Philanthropy table. Operation Deploy Your Dress will be collecting and distributing gently used and new formal and semi-formal attire to military and dependent ID cardholders FREE of charge to offset the cost of military balls and other formal events. Operation Deploy Your Dress will be holding a pop-up distribution event in Arlington at the end of this April (28th and 29th). All are welcome to take advantage of the pop-up! As the organization operates on a $0 budget, it would be greatly appreciated if the information can be shared by membership.
Appreciated items include semi-formal and formal wear - dresses, shawls, shoes, jewelry - anything you could wear to a ball, prom, etc. The organization is not set up to accept and distribute formal and semi-formal wear for children. PLEASE bring your items for donation to the March luncheon.
