BOSC Scholarship Program
BOSC works together to make the dreams of military family members come true.
The Belvoir Officers’ Spouses’ Club annually awards college scholarships to deserving, eligible U.S. military family members. In May 2011, 17 scholarships totaling $12,000 were awarded by BOSC to very deserving students!
The scholarship is open to military family members, including military spouses. Applicants must have a valid military identification card. Family members of all ranks of active duty or retired or deceased members of all armed services, including the Guard/Reserves are encouraged to apply. The applicant or their military sponsor must reside within the greater Washington area. Applicants must be enrolled in or planning to enroll in an accredited 4-year or 2-year college or university in fall 2012.
Each year applications are reviewed anonymously by a selection committee and judged based upon academic and other achievement, community involvement, leadership, and original essay.
